Services

Five services. One standard of evidence.

Kilwa helps institutions allocate capital, enter markets, manage exposure, mobilise investment and build sovereign AI capability across Africa. Every recommendation carries the evidence, the timing and the source trail an investment committee, a board or a ministry needs to stand behind it.

What we do

Each service answers one decision.

Industries are who we serve and the platform is the engine. These five are what an institution buys.

Sector lenses

Eight sector lenses run across all five services. Deep advisory begins with four; the platform screens all eight.

  • Energy and renewables
  • Technology and fintech
  • Infrastructure, logistics and real estate
  • Financial services and investment
  • Manufacturing and industry
  • Agriculture and agribusiness
  • Healthcare and pharmaceuticals
  • Tourism and hospitality
Who we serve

One engine

The platform is the spine of every service.

ISI, METI, Sentiment Pulse, Zawadi and the explainability layer are not sold as five products. They are the shared engine that turns a mandate into a defensible read.

Platform overview

Named solutions

Four products, four points in one decision cycle.

Each is delivered inside the service it belongs to, with its status stated plainly.

  1. 1 · Discover and compare

    Kilwa Africa Factbook

    Africa's living, source-linked reference.

What do we know about this country, region or sector, and how does it compare?

    Delivered within engagements
  2. 2 · Monitor

    Zawadi Briefing Engine

Where and when to act, with proof, exposure and an owner.

What changed, what proves it, who is exposed, and what deserves attention today?

    Delivered within engagements
  3. 3 · Underwrite and approve

    Kilwa Deal Room

The system of record for how an institution reached an investment judgment.

Can we defend this decision, and can we reconstruct it a year from now?

    Delivered within engagements
  4. 4 · Prove what happened

    Kilwa ImpactOS

Know what changed. Prove why. Fund what works.

Did the capital produce credible results, and what should be funded next?

How we engage

One path, whichever service it sits in.

Retainers, scoped projects and subscriptions, priced to the mandate rather than a tier list. Every engagement runs the same five steps, because each produces what the next one needs.

How to work with us
  1. 1Scope

The decision, the mandate, the markets and the horizon, agreed in writing before any evidence is assembled.

  2. 2Evidence

Inputs gathered from the source registry and the client, each flagged verified or estimated, with provenance recorded.

  3. 3Read

Structure and timing read separately on the published gauges, with the factors behind each shown.

  4. 4Decide

A decision pack for the committee, board or ministry: the call, the confidence, the trail and the condition that would prove it wrong.

  5. 5Monitor

Assumptions become dated signposts, watched between editions and graded in public, misses included.

Coverage

Twelve markets in depth. Fifty-four on the platform.

Deep advisory coverage is a claim about people and partners on the ground, so it is narrower than platform coverage, and we say which is which. Rwanda is the product laboratory; East Africa the first scale market.

  • Rwanda
  • Kenya
  • Tanzania
  • Uganda
  • Ethiopia
  • Nigeria
  • Ghana
  • Côte d'Ivoire
  • South Africa
  • Morocco
  • Egypt
  • Zambia
  • Deep advisory coverage (12)
  • Platform coverage (54)

Where we sell: United States, especially Washington and New York; United Kingdom, especially London; France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and other DFI centres; The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other Gulf capital hubs; South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Morocco and Rwanda; Singapore, for sovereign, infrastructure and Asian expansion mandates.

Boundaries

What Kilwa is not.

For this buyer, saying what a service is not is a trust signal and a regulatory necessity. Every service page carries its own version.

  • Not a credit rating agency, a placement agent or an underwriter. Kilwa cannot move a rating and does not try to.
  • Not regulated investment advice. Kilwa does not execute trades, recommend specific securities or promise outcomes.
  • Not legal, tax or licensing advice. Regulatory pathways are evidence and sequencing, confirmed with local counsel.
  • Not a general AI consultancy. Sovereign AI work needs a signed local consortium, a narrow use case and funded capacity transfer.

Kilwa Technologies LLC is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, credit rating agency or law firm. Its services are market, policy and country intelligence and decision support, provided under a written engagement. They are not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and nothing on this site is an offer or solicitation.

Scope an engagement

Tell us the decision. We will tell you what evidence it needs.

One conversation to agree the mandate, the markets and the horizon. A reply within one business day, from a person.

Your enquiry goes to sales@kilwa.io. We use your details only to respond to it, and a Kilwa engagement is decision support, not regulated investment advice.
